TESDA is
offering FREE assessment to poor skilled
workers and new graduates of technical
vocational education and training (TVET)
programs/courses. The procedure is
intended to measure and leads to the
issuance of Certificate of Competency or
National Certificate which outlines the
level of skills and knowledge of the
holder. This certification is required
by most local and foreign employees to
ensure that they are only hiring truly
skilled workers.
PGMA-Free Assessment Service of TESDA
(FAST)
PGMA-FAST, or Free
Assessment Service of TESDA provides
free assessment and certification to our
poor, job-ready students and workers who
cannot afford the fees for assessment to
obtain certification --- which is an
added credential--- for free, or at no
cost to applicant.Target
beneficiary of the PGMA-FAST includes
job-ready students graduating from the
PGMA-Training-for-Work Scholarship
Program This will add to their
credentials and will facilitate their
employment.Free
Assessments shall be conducted initially
at the TESDA Women’s Center and Training
Complex in Taguig City;
the National TVET Trainers
Academy in Marikina City;
and subsequently, in some 150
PGMA-FAST Assessment Centers in
TESDA
Technology Institutions and
offices across the nation, on Saturdays
and Sundays.
